Kingdom Season 3 Netflix Renewal and Release Date
Undoubtedly, Director Kim Sung-Hoon’s latest Korean zombie series Kingdom Season 2 is one of the biggest series released this year. With the drama being available on Netflix, lots of fans are willing to know how Lee Chang handled the outbreak.
The last episode of the second season left fans hanging, especially when the main character discovered that the resurrection plant scattered across the land. The Legend of the Blue Sea star, Jun Ji-Hyun also made her debut in the series. What could be her role in the Kingdom series? Is she an enemy or an ally?
Kingdom Season 3 Renewal
Currently, there is still no official statement from Netflix for the renewal of the zombie Korean series Kingdom. However, there’s a huge chance that Netflix will soon announce that the series has been renewed.
With the cliffhanger events from the previous season and the appearance of some big Korean celebrities, Kingdom fans want to see more how the story progresses. We will be posting a new update once we got the confirmation for the renewal of the series.
Kingdom Season 3 Release Date
As stated above, Netflix is yet to announce the renewal of the Kingdom series. Once the series has been renewed and we will follow the timeline, it’s likely that we will be getting the third season of the series in the first quarter of 2021.
The first season of Kingdom was released in January 2019, while the second season goes live in March 2020. Following this format, Kingdom Season 2 should be out between January to April 2021.
Kingdom Season 3 Casts
Lots of characters have left the series in the previous season. Some of these are Kim Hye-Jun who played as the Queen, Kim Sang-Ho, Ryoo Seung-Ryong, and more.
Meanwhile, the remaining characters that will surely be playing in Season 3 are Ju Ji-Hoon, Bae Doo-Na, Jun Suk-Ho, Kim Sung-Kyu. The second season also introduced Jun Ji-Hyun, which seems a character playing a big role for the next season.
